A vitoria do rei fundador sobre os cinco Reis mouros, em 1139 , no local de S. Pedro de Cabe\u00e7as, \u00e9 de h\u00e1 muito uma referencia recorrente da historiografia portuguesa , quando se debate a quest\u00e3o da independ\u00eancia de Portugal .<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Assim, tamb\u00e9m visitou-se no mesmo concelho Santa Barbara de Padr\u00f5es. Tradicionalmente, esta freguesia est\u00e1 de h\u00e1 muito ligada \u00e0 actividade mineira, pois dessa realidade foram encontrados vest\u00edgios desde, pelo menos,\u00a0<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"1700 a.C.\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1700_a.C.\">1700 a.C.<\/a>. Foi tamb\u00e9m em Santa B\u00e1rbara de Padr\u00f5es, junto \u00e0\u00a0<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Seiscentista\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seiscentista\">seiscentista<\/a>\u00a0Igreja Matriz, que foi descoberto um dep\u00f3sito votivo de\u00a0<a class=\"new\" title=\"Lucerna romana (p\u00e1gina n\u00e3o existe)\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=Lucerna_romana&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\">lucernas romanas<\/a>, do s\u00e9culo\u00a0<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"S\u00e9culo I d.C.\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/S%C3%A9culo_I_d.C.\">I<\/a>&#8211;<a title=\"S\u00e9culo III\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/S%C3%A9culo_III\">III<\/a>\u00a0d.C., com milhares de exemplares, das quais se encontram alguns exemplares em exposi\u00e7\u00e3o, no\u00a0<a title=\"Museu da Lucerna\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Museu_da_Lucerna\">Museu da Lucerna<\/a>, na vila de Castro Verde.<\/p>\n<p><a
